SELAH’S HERITAGE FUND

Selah’s Heritage Fund and story can be found at justgiving.com/selahsstory. We are going to be doing all we can, as a family, to raise money for incredible charities who go above and beyond to ensure they see the number of stillbirth and neonatal deaths decrease and who also, beautifully, support families who face these tragedies.

Two charities which are incredibly close to our hearts are SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Deaths Charity) and Tommy’s (Saving Babies’ Lives Charity).

From the second we were told our beautiful baby’s heart had stopped beating to this very moment, Northamptonshire SANDS have been there to support us and our families. SANDS support bereaved families following the loss of their babies and they promote research to reduce the number of infant deaths.

Tommy’s is a charity who we have become aware of in the last few months. They work hard researching into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature births and are doing all they can to prevent these from happening and to see parents able to take their happy and healthy babies home.

Selah’s Heritage Fund donations will go directly to Tommy’s Charity for helping to support the teams researching into stillbirth. It is extremely important that this work continues so that families can have safe and happy pregnancies with the most incredible outcomes.

Watch this space as we will also be doing a variety of other fundraisers to support the local SANDS charity who, as you’ve read, have supported us in stunning ways since losing Selah.

Here are a couple images of events that have already happened in the past few months, which so many donated to…

I’m Claire

Claire Christian-Farman

Wife to Luke, Mama to Selah, home-maker.

I am currently walking the darkest path and learning to create a new ‘normal’ after the worst loss, the death of our sweet baby girl, Selah in September 2017.

I am driven more than ever to share our stories with you, get alongside other parents who have experienced loss and to do all that I can to raise awareness of stillbirth and help support charities who are doing amazing works to raise awareness and who walk with families through their next pregnancies following loss.
